just a note re: the steering wheel
It was a genuine mistake that I said it was for sale as I had promised it to someone. Then I found out how much it was worth when he was decent enough to tell me instead of giving me a smaller amount for it.
Now I may keep it for my s2 or sell it for a greater price. I think this is my right since I own it and haven't taken any money from anyone for it. Likewise it is your right to take the hump if you choose to do so because you almost got a steering wheel for less than it's worth so you could keep it or sell it on for a profit.

erm.. can't say i've broached the subject cos I'm still at the office. The steering wheel story is a good one but means no difference to her until she sees cash in my hand (and by my hand I mean her purse of course).
I fully expect to receive a severe 'brow'ing this evening.
