My laser red S2 avant...

Waited a good while now for a couple of people who cant sort themselves out so its now public fodder... as most will know a long, long time ago i had a standard S2 avant that was much loved... i then took it off the road to fit a collection of RS2 goodies including ...head with cams which had been cleaned up nicely prior to fitting by James (terrybullwon) , exhaust manifold, inlet manifold, injectors, ecu, maf, airbox oh and the turbo etc etc... engine work has been 98.5% finished but due to business/family and RS2 commitments its going up for grabs... i want it to go as a whole preferably (bring a trailer) as i simply dont have the time to spend stripping parts off her... will try and get some pics up at the weekend... anyone with an S2 wanting to upgrade could sit the 2 side by side and swap the parts over to their car and return this S2 back to standard or simply finish it off and bingo RS2 powered S2... there is a very vauge possibility that someone might want to come and strip the vast majority of the car in which case it may possibly be broken... must admit ive just got a little sad typing this up but remembering ive got the RS2 on the drive has just cheered me up again im looking at a quite realistic £3250 for the whole car... im sure that anyone whos good with figures and knows the cost of the individual RS2 parts here can work out its a fair deal pm me if you want more info... i dont bite

Also you can bet the parts are spotless,i bought a turbo recently from Al (can i buy your rs2 one?) and it was gleaming,how about some pics mate? Never seen the beast before

Just get that water line on, fill the fluids up and do the down pipe bolts up and she will be as fast if not fast than your RS

Ok quick note to the interested parties (the whole car) theres been a lot of pms re breaking the car and some very strong offers for parts that are pushing me towards that way of thinking. Really dont want to go that way but with people offering to come and remove parts i must admit im very tempted... need to hear some noises from the guys concerned interested in buying (the whole car) pretty quick like! When you sit down and add up the individual value of all the parts involved here its a bit of a no brainer... dont worry Bertie if it is going to be broken gearbox has your name on it others who may be interested in it re parts feel free to express your wants and needs etc

Any chance of some pictures of the entire car? i tried searching through old threads to find any pictures, but all i can find is that engine bay shot! Any other details on the car ie milage, service history mot etc?

Its a 1994/M aby S2 avant 116k (RS2 bits 98k) mots to verify, only 2 owners prior to me, service history (not full has lots of bills etc) mot now expired and sorn, various options are available to buyer... choice of wheels (RS4 or RS6 18`s ) choice of interiors (avant fabric, S2 leather or RS2 recaro :mischeif actually have lots of stuff that could go with it (at the right price) some pics will be up at the weekend if i get 5 mins but pm if you want to chat or more info... im a friendly sort (so im told) so dont be scared
