For Sale – Audi RS2 RHD
This is the original press car, the first in the country, and featured in just about every car magazine. In RS Blue with Black leather and blue Alcantara.
The car has covered 163K miles but like Trigger’s broom its had a “few new handles and a few new heads” so most things have been changed over the years including a top end and turbo rebuild around 110K and a bottom end overhaul at 120K. It also has a full service history, tax until Dec and MOT until July.
I have recently spent £4000 on a few essential upgrades plus all the little jobs that cost a fortune when you first buy one of these:
New Big Red callipers and 322mm drilled discs up front, and new drilled rear discs complete with rebuilt handbrake and new shoes. – All Audi parts, plus Goodridge braided hoses, in all over £2k fitted !
New suspension bushes and HD top mounts.
Milltek Cat Back system, Milltek Dump Valve and K&N filter help it breath and improve the torque low down. Standard ECU map still.
New cambelt and tensioner.
Airbag wheel replaced with S2 style 3 spoke as per the original European press cars – a much better feeling wheel with a thicker, profiled rim.
New Blaupunkt Hamburg CD/MP3 with Bluetooth just to keep it legal and safe as well as looking OEM.
The car has just had all the lower door trims replaced too and is currently being valeted, so I will upload pictures later this week.
PM me if you require more info or contact details.
A piece of history, and probably THE car that made most of us want one in the first place, offers around £12495. Not cheap for the mileage, but do not compare this with the £10K cars that always seem to need £2-3K spending straight away.
