Jamo - it's a very nice car - I wouldn't hesitate in buying this one - there are a few of us that have seen it at a couple of meets.

It looks it Doug, but i'm taking my time and looking for value for money as i'm finiding alot of S2 are overpriced when compared to the parkers price guide!

Parker guide bears no resemblence to real prices for S2s. These are rare cars and as such you will get what people are preapared to pay.

As an Avant owner I hate Parkers as it values the (rarer) Avant at MUCH less than the coupe I hope that if my car ever got knicked my insurance company didn't use parkers as a guide.

Well much to Alistair's despair i am now the proud owner of an Audi S2.

Even though i was driving like "Miss Daisy" on the way home (mpg of 28.5 proves that heh)

It was very smooth and as a Saxo vts owner found (why oh why did he try??? ) has a hell of a kick on it.

Cross fingers i hope i have no problems!!!
