    RS2 Turbo

Bought this from Steve1234 for £350 change of plan means i have no need for it now, he bought it from ebay.de and the chap said it had done around 60,000 Km's

There is a little bit of play in the cold side bearing but none in the hot side bearing

If you grab the impeller nut you can move it side to side about 2mm and pull it in and out 1mm

Small crack in the hotside housing but its very small and probably not worth bothering about

Is it just me or do the numbers and letters on the identification plate look a bit wobbly. Pictures of other plates I've seen look like they've been stamped rather than engraved. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Odd indeed - should be stamped - maybe the plate was damaged or misplaced during a rebuild and somebody created a new plate from a blank.

Yep, i can vouch for that, put them side by side yesterday def the same turbo/castings etc... dont be put off by the crack that Matt mentions either, it really is next to nothing and certainly not worth crying ova. In fact, i nearly took his turbo home by mistake....nice try Matt!!
