    Coupe (NOT S2) wanted

My mate's looking for a clean coupe (definitely not an S2 as insurance is an issue for him) preferably not at the other end of the country from Glasgow. No projects.

Prob best to leave a message here or PM me in the first instance.

    Cheers.

Can a mod move this please, I didn't realize there were seperate For Sale/Wanted...

Eric, that might be of interest. Can you let me know if you get a price, or a phone number for us to check?

Raj, his last one was a V6 but he's hoping for something with slightly better fuel economy this time. Can you PM me some details anyway? His folks are on the Black Isle so would be easy to check it out.

          Thanks both.

As you can see the colour looks good on the coupe's also it was a lifestyle option the car is immaculate apart from the a little bit of rust on the rear drivers side lip of the wing which i am going to get sorted as it is only light at the moment
Just put a new water pump and timing belt kit a new rocker cover gasket and am in the process in of replacing the crosshead screw on the power steering pump
Looking for £1700 or nearest offer it is high mileage but i have a folder full of receipts and bills of work carried out through out its life

            Cheers Raj

Thanks Raj, I've passed that on but he's thinking it'll be a bit thirsty for him. Thanks for going to so much trouble with the pics.

                Cheers,

                  .

                  Hi Irvin!

I will just say that the 2.6 V6 is surprisingly good on petrol.I was stunned that I got to Bridge of Don and back last week on £95.OK,I did 50-60 MPH the whole journey and it took 8 hours, but the drive was really relaxing and I felt as fresh as a daisy when I got out.

They do about 100 miles on a tenner if theyre running properly. If you rag them theyll do about 40 miles!!This is a mixture of town and 20-30 mile trips.

I have one which I'd be prepared to sell. Its in an unusual colour of which only 6 are in the UK.Its a Lime Pastel Green.Id take £1900.Lots of MOT and tax, very rare Pre-select sunroof and Air Con,sports suspension from the factory also all new.Manual.

                  Good Luck !

                      ?

He's decided to go for one down in Brum, but if the condition isn't as described will still be looking, so thanks for the suggestions.

                      Cheers,
                      Irvin

He's bought the one that was in Brum, seems pretty pleased with it.

                        Thanks to everyone for replies.
