Looking for a nice S2 for my Show VR

    Hi All,

I’m currently selling my Golf VR6 highline (show condition) and looking at getting my first S2.

The VR is running around 212bhp and runs as smooth as can be, running between 26 and 35mpg on normal unleaded. The paint is perfect and she is sitting on 16” 3 piece lighting weight BBS RS split rims with gold and polished lips and lowered with Coilovers.
The VR6 is probably one of the most reliable cars ever made and mine has had lots uprated parts and refreshed. I’ve spent over £7k on her and hopefully she goes to a good home. Have a look and see what you think

In the VDUB show world this car would be up there with the best of show condition examples.

If you have a nice S2 and fancy a change/swap then please feel free to contact me.
Please email (dell_2000_uk@yahoo.co.uk) or PM me.

    Thanks
    Paul D.

        Maybe worth changing that to:
'my VR6 is probably one of the most reliable ones ever made'

As a previous VR6 owner all I can add is:
Coilpack, Aux coolant pump right next to major wiring connector for whole engine loom, coilpack, camchain that lasts 100,000 then needs engine out to replace, coilpack, various sensors, coilpack...

Beautiful engines, sound glorious, run smooth, but not IMHO the most reliable VAG ever made...

I'm sure yours is a good one, and as such your car sounds and looks like a belter, I wish you every success with your sale - despite all the problems I had with mine I still miss that V6 howl!
        Nothing feels fast for long...

Lol well I've had 4 of these and all you need to do is uprate your coilpack and remove your thermostat and they will run for ever. The chains dont have to be changed every 100k as lots of VR's have gone over the 200k mark without doing and mine in a special twin chain version :-p (highline only)
