No relation or anything. Bought my A6 off him. Seems a decent enough bloke for a used car salesman. Just asked him what he'd sell it for and he says he needs 4k for it. Seems good spec and good nick for the money.

aye he knows his cars alright. he got me a set of new tyres for my a6 and when I was up at the house he had an evo sitting, a lexus is200 and 3 porsches. one was a red 911 from about '83 or something. my schoolboy dream.

I wonder if Buchanan Motors have done the strut top mounts and paintwork??

Looks like a nice clean car but the advert is a little incorrect in that it certainly has not got a recent set of matching tyres as there seem to be at least 2 different tread patterns?

I wonder how he came to get it then? would the previous owner have traded it in against a new car and Buchanan motors got it for a decent price from the dealer? hmm
anyway.. I won't be buying it. I'm going to figure out how to get more oopmh out of my 1.8TQ since I've finally got a car under 10 years old

i'd give him the benefit of the doubt. At the end of the day if you turn up to buy it and check those issues specifically and they haven't been fixed you can walk away. I don't see that he'd lie if it's likely to end up in wasted time all round.
