S2 coupe wanted

S2 coupe wanted; ideally ABY engine with leather trim, sun roof etc, but have a budget of only 3K, am i asking too much?!? Anyone know of one on the market? thanks all (and at the risk of sounding a little 'female', no offence , "I dont really want a red one")

at 3k it is possible (known one needing a clutch go for under 500) but thats really bottom of the rung for one, good one's still can be found.

iirc pete RR was selling a avant if you did not mind one of them for 2.5k - I went in fitzy's at teh weekend and IMO the avants handling is miles above that of the coupe's, felt so planted.

For the benefit of everyone that wants to sell... you're asking to much

Id certainly say £3k for an ABY with sunroof, leather, not a dull red colour and in good working order is to much to ask but you could get lucky.

The other thing to remember is that you can spend £5-6k on a well looked after and high spec'd ABY, and still spend another £10k

Ive got a 3b coupe im looking to sell soon. not posted any details yet as I still have a few things to get sorted.
The wife thinks its unreasonable for a man to have two coupe for some reason!?!?! even after seeing Noels "fourcircle"coupe collection!?!??!

With only 3K you would probably be better off going for 3B.

3k is borderline unless your happy to do some big jobs on it, like acidburn said. If you keep your eyes open you might find one though and id be more then happy to trail along with you to check it out..

There was a 3b that sold on ebay last week for ~£1500
