Did you ever sort out getting another crankshaft sensor (iirc) to get the car started?

Need to find out what engines in it specifically incase it is aby instead of 3b.

what part of the land are you in mate? I fear you'll likely be too far from Glasgow but I find myself itching for another s2 to fix.

I'm not against travelling for a car but if it's a non runner the delivery charges are the killer. I was bloody lucky Sal managed to find someone coming down to brum to collect a trailer so I got the shell sent up for a couple of hundred quid.
I'm still trying to find out what auctions in central scotland do accident damaged and cheaper cars. What i've found so far is all 99 upwards.
I do like this colour of car. At a decent price and not having to pay silly money for delivery i'd be right there (with the missus going daft in the background)

I don't know the gent breaking the S2, but I also don't know how anybody expects him to put a price on the 1000's of individual parts that the car has. Can somebody tell me how that is supposed to be handled "per the forum rules". The rule must be directed to individual items!
