    17" Avus wheels

HI Got a set of these for sale as fitted some new BBS wheels instead.

All fitted with goodyear tyres but one has a puncture and is border line as closeish to edge of tyre, one has thread showing, one ok and last one borderline. All good year tyres, best one is a GSD3 I think with about 4mm left.

Part number is 8D0 601 025 N, 7.5 x 17 ET 45, no idea what they are off. I think they are from an s4?

    Complete with centre caps.

Again no idea on price, aiming for £170 as need to free up some space! If people think I am being optomistic etc please let me know

Not bad condition but not mint! Ideal for getting bigger brakes under.

If ET 45 - they're from an S3, therefore different PCD. Therefore no use to S2 drivers.. sorry neeb.

not good if that is the case! I bought these as advised they were pcd of 112. Will check part number to confirm, thanks for pointing it out, Paul

EDIT: Just checked on ETKA and these are listed as the avus alloys to fit the B5 S4. The equivalent for the S3 begin with 8L0.

        What's the difference

between these wheels and early S6 17' Avus wheels, does anyone know?

( Can't find the part number of my early S6 Avus rims as the S2 is in the UK currently ).

        Thanks.

Thought the differences between early/late avus alloys was the center caps but i've not paid much attention to the wheel tbh.

I am here to be proved wrong as always.. (I've had a few),

I've S4 reps on my 3B and I just remember ET is too much without spacers. Aha.. you're right ET on S3's is too low.. less than 30, or low 30's???

If they are from an S4 the price is a steal. RS6 is so passe..

I believe that spacers are used by some people when using these wheels?

I am new to the world of s2's so learning all the time.

I hope that someone needs them etc even as a set for the track etc?

You will need spacers for these on an S2, I know mines wearing a set.
S6 Avus wheels don't need spacers and are wider than S4 avus wheels.

HI I am in Hilperton which is just outside Trowbridge in Wiltshire.

One tyre is fine the others are all pretty much finished really. One definitely is not usable as it is worn through to the metal. I can take a picture of each tyre tread if you like?
