    FS:- Marin Mountain Bike

Marin Rift Zone mountain bike with lots of upgrades, Mavic rims, Hope XC hubs and Hayes brakes. 17.5" medium frame for 5'9" to 6' rider, full suspension with 100mm travel front and rear, 200mm disc brakes and plenty of nice upgrades. If you're intersted then PM me and I'll send you a spec. I'm after £550 for it.

Not an Audi but a great pice of kit nontheless. If you don't know what this is then please don't start abusing the price, this cost over £1k to build secondhand and a simillar bike would cost £2k new

Hoping to do so when I'm better but as it's just sat in the garage and has been since last November I decided it was time to sell. I want something a little heavier with more suspension next so I can move towards DH stuff, 100mm is perfect for green lane riding and trails but as the stuff over in Wales gets more and more extreme I hope to be able to keep up, just got to get the nerves in check!

Yeah, just started looking at bikes again. Plenty out there, will be looking for a 5" to 6" XC bike next as it should cope with what I was doing last year. Don't want a 40lb+ monster DH machine... yet! S2 coupe is a good bike lugger, 2 bikes + kit + mate + Wales = fun fun fun (shame about the M4 tho)...

Looks great....doubt that will hang about too long On a similar note, my last trip to the pub changed from a casual chewing the fat affair into agreeing to complete a TDF alpine climb next August with my brother-in-law

So now on the lookout for a decent roadbike and time for some real training to get me to the top of the Galibier or Iseran

no, definately no hidden talent in alpine climbing - either of us......muuuch better going downhill on two planks personally . Think i might just get a Decathlon bike, looks like reasonable money buys a hell of a lot of bike.

Well ok a 'sub 5'...great xc'er, goes up as well as down and far lighter than a dh rig.

'Push' biking's no fun on something over 30 lbs.
