    OEM RS2 Dampers

I have my 13 year old 70,000 mile OEM RS2 dampers sitting here boxed up.

None of them are leaking but they've all sagged by about an inch. I know this as the new Bilstein shocks have raised it front and rear by an inch on the same springs.

If anyone wants them drop me a PM. You can have them just cover my P&P.

Will wait a week and they're then off to the recycling centre

The bilsteins reverse dampen and are harder dampened, they will not compress as easily as standard shocks hence why they are heigher

AND now that you have mentioned it Lloyd,i think my car is as low now as it was with OEM dampers(after about 8000Kms with them).so they will drop a little with time

Worn dampers should resist the spring movement less and should allow the car to sit near the design height, not slump down. A car with no dampering at all will sit at this height too. New stiffer dampers will result in more hysterisis (lost movement) between compression and rebound reluting in sitting slightly lower after compression and higher after extension.

Just back from a trip away. Has been a lot of interest in the dampers

Delivery to the UK will be £30 or £80 to Canada. Fairly heavy box.
P&P pricing includes a beer token for my trouble.

If you're interested drop me a PM to confirm.

              Cheers,
              Lloyd
