I fancy them against the dark blue, but if I can't get fogs and indicators to match (which I can't find) then I think it's not worthwhile to be honest.

you can use the same material you use on the window tints on the fogs,to match,but honestly,the bumper wouldnt seem nice then..

I'd like them but mine are HID, have to check the HID can be removed.

what you can do is just replace the mirrors instead of the whole headlamp.It is much easier.Once you take the glass off,they pop off quite easily.
