Audi 90 quattro type 85 for sale.

Hi all,
As the title says I have an audi 90 quattro for sale on ebay an the moment. Its the usual 'too many projects' story so its got to go. The damned thing has been outside my mums house for about 6 months and the space was needed there so I convinced myself to list it, now it's outside my kitchen window lookin so cool (if a little tired) I want to keep it but my cq project needs to come home too. Just wondered if anyone was thinking of doing a steeper screened shorty in the near future or indeed fancied a winter project. It'll need a some welding on the sill ends (at the front) and also the brake lines and fuel lines are in need of attn but the a posts and b posts seem solid (I think they're a usual weak point on these). I can honestly say I haven't had a good look around the rest of the car but I think its fair to say it'll need some other stuff to pass a test.

A mate and I have bought this car with plans to restore it to factory spec. It will certainly not be a quick job and until we get the car up on the ramps it's difficult to tell how long/how much it will cost to get it back on the road. The plan is to get it on the road over the winter, and give it a shakedown. Then we'll see where we are with it and decide on the finer details of how to proceed. By then I should have a garage for it to live in and for us to work in

We plan to blog it but as we are both hopelessly disorganised I don't know how long that will last despite our best intentions! We saw it as a once in a lifetime opportunity to own one of these as there are so few left on the road.. I have only ever seen two in the flesh, one being jogi730's beast and one being Steve_T63's.

Keep your eyes peeled for progress over the winter!

Looking good and should be a good project, I know of another forum member who's recently got one and my mate has 4 of these plus around 10 other coupes/coupe quattro's etc. I've been badgering him for one for a while He's got seriously stupid amount of spares to keep his on the road (4x garages full of bits)
