Hi,
I have already posted this on the project thread here:
but I thought I would give it a proper home in the right section, so here goes.
I am selling my audi 1989 Audi 90Q and am looking for offers around £5000. I have no choice as I have recently gone back to uni and cant afford to keep her going and dont want to watch her rot in my garage.
The car started life as a 2.3 10V quattro, but has been heavily modified with the following. It has a 3B engine
Garrett GT3071R Turbo
034 motorsport 'log' manifold
Longlife 3" turbo back exhaust system
Polished and ported cylinder head
7A exhaust camshaft
new INA tappets and timing chain
new piston rings
ARP headbolts with sport quattro washers
SCAT conrods with RS2 mains and big end shells
ARP Mains' bolts
Bassett down lightened and balanced crankshaft
fidanza aluminium flywheel
clutchnet organic/ceramic clutch
new oil pump and pick up.
magnicore 8mm spark leads
bosch fuelpump (i forget the name but its the one that just about everyone uses
Samco boost hoses and vacuum lines
custom made RS2 replica intercooler (its actually slightly larger)
motorsport gearbox, transmission and rear diff mounts.
Brembo Big red front brakes
17" S4 alloys recently refirbished in a gun-metal grey.
H&R springs & koni shocks all round (front are top adjustable)
VDO boost pressure gauge.
Qucikshift steel mesh cone filter
MRC re-map
The body was recently re-sprayed in 'Brilliant black' The front wings were replaced with the Audi 80 B4 arches (slightly more flared than standard). The back arches have been modified for better clearance. Rieger side skirts and back bumper. Audi 80 V6 front bumper. Vented bonnet and OS wing (for air intake). The car was completly de-chromed.
It still runs of its original vacuum brake set up, which I believe gives a better feel and is a lot simpler and cheaper to maintain.
It has full black leather in very good condition and an S2 steering wheel.
The car will also come with a selection of spares from my garage including a brand new set of 17" michelin pilot sport tyres & two powder coated forged front wishbones.
I have reciepts for absolutly everything
All of the parts were fitted about a year ago since then the car has done around 3500 miles with no problems at all (except one dirty maf and a powersteering pump both have been fixed). The car comfortably goes off the clock at 160mph. Due to some poor prep work there is a bubble on the roof which is hardly noticable, but realistically would require a roof re-spray to remove. The car still needs some finishing touches but is truely fantastic. It has loads of tax and 4 months MOT. Though I would be willing to put a new one on it.
Feel free to PM me or email me at acchenery@hotmail.com for any more info.
Cheers
Chen
