    S2 Avant for sale

It is with great regret but I have decided to part company with the S2.

I have spent a long time to come to this decision as I really do like the car but unfortunately it simply has to go.

I have done a reasonable amount to the car to get it is where it is today, it is only on here and PH at the minute here:

    http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/835605.htm

After 3450 for it as I feel that this is a sensible target price. Should anyone have any guidance if this is miles off the mark please do let me know!

    Thanks.

real shame that your having to sell, the cars one of the better one's ive seen and you've spent quite a bit on it (interior/brakes/wheels)

good luck with the sale, I very much doubt it will hang around long

Car is no advertised on the bay as well with 70 watchers so far but not really much in the way of close offers!

I am seriously tempted to offer the interior, exhaust and brake set up for sale separately. Whilst this will without doubt reduce the value of the car it may mean it becomes more affordable in these hard times.

I really do not want to do this but it may have to happen or do people think that this would be a bad move?

Might not be such a bad idea, as the car is not worth much less without those parts, if you do remove these parts, I would be very interested in the parts your looking to sell, and have all the standard parts for putting the car back to standard if thats of any use.

        Cheers,

I would agree. Take the bits off and sell them. You will then be selling a nice tidy Original S2 Avant for a reasonable amount

Unfortunately the car has now sold but is remaining in the forum!!

All I have to sell on now are the 996 brake setup complete with RS2 hard lines, genuine S8 discs, pads vibration springs, anti squeal thingies! and caliper carriers.

I will post any pictures etc when they are off the car and will be advertising for around the 550 mark.
