    1993 Audi Coupe - 2.6e V6 (possibly cheap!!)

2.6 V6 Audi Coupe, in Ragusa Green
MOT till August 09 and Tax till April 09

The car is pretty solid, interior is clean, bodywork is ok for the year, few marks here and there but sort of thing you'd expect for a car of this age and mileage, has one of the bumper grilles missing (Nearside).

Electric mirrors, windows and sunroof, alloys. Engine runs sweet, could do with new ARB bushes and top mounts doing as there is a slight knock, but nothing that would fail MOT, drives fine.

Haven't got much service history, only have a stamped service book up to about 115k (i think). Belt last done at approx 96k.

Starts, drives, stops fine. Does have the knocking at the front, but that's about it. Tyres are good and so are brakes, had a new rear piece of exhaust so that's solid too.

Am in no rush or need to get rid of the car. Had the car a couple of months myself, is a good car but am looking to get something for the track as got a nurburgring trip later in the year

£795 ono (Got a car turning up next weekend, so ideally I would like space before then....silly offers entertained)

I gave my mate a ring today to let him know about the car, he is as I suspected very interested and he has the money to hand. He does not have access to the internet so he won't commit himself with out seeing some pics first. He was going to pop round to mine this evening to have a look but his missus had other ideas so he's going to come over and have a look in the morning. Once he has he will be in touch, we will aim to pick it up on Sunday if he goes for it, which if he has any sense he will. Christ if I had the cash spare I'd buy it for myself.

              Ok fella, sounds good.

It's tucked up in the garage at the moment, so if the weather is good tomorrow then I'll get it out for some more pictures

No worries Mike, it was a fair deal. The old girl behaved well on the 200 mile drive home, Ola's really pleased with the car. It's his first proper car having spent the past 8 years driving Diesel Citroen's, so even with the shagged top mounts and bushes the driving experience was a revelation to him

I'm still 50/50 on whether one of the head gaskets has a very slight leak or not, I'll find out later this week once I get a chance to give it a proper going over. It's going to be a really good example once I've spent a weekend working on it.

Did you know it had been lowered??

Glad to know you got back ok and that you're both happy with it.

As for it being lowered, I kind of thought that's how they all were, never seen one sitting too high so didn't think anything of it
