Stock pistons? are you sure because that would send the compression ratio high

Stock pistons compression height is 32.8 to run 155mm rods with 95.5 crank you need pistons with a compression height of 21.8mm

          this is what i think:

          236mm(block)-32,8mm(comph)=203,2mm
          95,5mm(stroke)/2=47,75mm
          203,2mm-47,75mm=155,45mm

if we order 155mm, we reduce the original compression ratio.

It is very simple! This part of the sheet you are looking at shows 95.5 crank with 3B Block and 155mm rods!

Aron spoke about 95.5 crank with diesel block and 155mm rods!

My bad, if it's diesel block then the size is 155mm but the compression ratio is still too high to use stock pistons.

I have Pisobikers calculations on the subject from when I bought his setup as he used 155.xx rods can't remember exactly at the moment.

                    hi,

ask Peter kowatsch. He always takes 154 or 155mm rods when he builts a 2.5ltr engine.

Might be interested... A stroker was not on my immediate plans, but could be a nice option considering I plan changing my engine's rods... then why don't do it on another engine and keep mine as stock?
Keep us updated Aron and thanks very much!!

Thanks for your answer. I have making some numbers and, if I am right, with stock pistons the compression ratio would be 8,71:1.
The problem is if you upgrade the bore...
If JE pistons like these are used (this would be my idea) I think the compression ratio would drop to 7,94:1. I think it would be a little bit too low.

                              http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JE-PI...0646QQtcZphoto

I still think these rods are a very good option.
                              Cheers!
