FS: Cheap Passat in N Ireland

My brother's just bought a VW Sharan thing to satisfy his family needs so he wants to get rid of the passat I left with him to use. It needs a bit of attention but I don't think it's anything silly. Just a collection of small PITA jobs. He doesn't tinker with cars so he hasn't got the know how or inclination to fix these things. He's paid too much money recently to have various things serviced and just wants rid of it.

It's year 2000, red 1.8 20v saloon passat. 107k miles. Has 18" alloys with decent Michelin Pilot Sport tyres (he used to work for Michelin so got decent tyres every year). MOT to end of May, Tax to end of March
has a towbar that isn't used as he hasn't got a trailer. His garage fitted a reconditioned block this time last year, skimmed and serviced the head, fitted new head gasket, new water pump, timing belt, aux belts, new radiator. Then in June he got new front discs and pads, CV boot, a track rod end and a caliper had the seals replaced. Interior is is good condition too and it has a glass sunroof.

    The issues:
At times the engine drops a bit of power. Not often around town but maybe going at 60mph it will lose a bit of power, hesitate a little bit and drop off so he can only manage 50mph with his foot down. If he turns the ignition off and on again it's fine, which makes me think it could be a daft sensor (MAF, ISV?) and turning off and on is resetting the ECU. I've offered to send him vagcom and a cable but he's lost patience and just wants rid of it.

driver's window motor or cable is wonky so it won't go back up without a hand.
one of the elec mirrors angles down but not up (so you use ye olde method of pushing it with a hand).
    glovebox catch is broken
boot catch is temperamental. it stopped working and he stuck his head in from within the cabin and clipped it back into place. It's happened a couple of times but likely just one of the wee tabs between the lock mech and rod.
alloys are bubbling a bit so could do with a refurb but they're all straight.
exhaust is blowing between downpipe and cat. I haven't seen it myself but from the description he gave me I think it's the flange has come apart so it would need new bolts or maybe a small weld.

I'll try to upload a couple of recent receipts to show the work he's had done when the garage thought his head gasket had gone.

It would be a great car again if the bits and bobs were looked at or it's worth a fair bit in parts. I'd take £550 or a near offer to take it away but no tyre kicking and wasting the poor buggr's time please (or i'll just have to get the ferry over and bring it back to scotland to fix or break myself). PM me for his number if you're interested.
