    guide price

    Hello all,

(mods:- if this is in the wrong forum feel free to move it..cheers!)

not posted for a while (years!) so I hope you're all well.

My S2 has been off the road for a while (due to new commute distance 90 mile round trip!)

however I have recently got it back on the road but not T&T'd yet.

with new rear calipers, brake/fuel lines, usual service stuff etc etc and was thinking about selling it.

I did originally want to keep it for a summer car but due to some points on my licence and the forthcoming impact to my job sector of the "markets" I'm not sure if i can justify it.

Any ideas on what it may be worth?

    It a 1991 3b

    131k on the clock
Cat D, (cosmetic damage to the left hand side a while ago)
all high mileage service parts done (all belts, water pumps, all sorts)
it has the AB wheels (the 5 spoke ones with the centre cap)
if it's not worth too much I may keep it garaged and slowly make it fun (while waiting for my points to disappear)

    cheers in advance

    Taf

    S2 Guide price

    Hi Taf,

I'm currently looking for an S2 and so have a bit of an idea about what they are worth.

There is an S2 with similar mileage on Piston Heads at the moment: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/889855.htm at £3495, this looks a bit highly priced and is probably worth closer to £3k.

Assuming that your S2 is factory standard and has good paint and interior and taking into account that it is Cat-D then I'd say it would be worth closer to £2k with tax and MOT.

May be completely off with this, but it's about right considering what I have seen.

If you do decide to sell let me know as I could be interested.

    Cheers,

    Will

cheers for the replies people, I think taking into account I have just spent £1000 on it getting it working I may keep hold of it if its just worth £2k.

I know the garage owner so I'm sure I can drip him cash every month to look after it and maybe upgrade it to what I want it to be (brembos, Konis, chip, RS2 turbo, new RS4 wheels etc etc etc)
