    Type 85 coupe gt breaking

I have a white type 85 coupe gt that I am breaking, everything available atm apart from the seats and door cards at present.

    Examples of prices:

    locks/handles £10
    boot lid with spoiler £10
    Doors £10 each
    Speedo Cluster £10
    Sunvisor clips £30

Loads of other bits available but too much to list everything with prices atm, I'm going to try list everything up tommorow before it all goes on ebay.

I'll have a look mate but from what I remember it "might" be the version that goes down into the wishbone, in fact i'm almost sure it does, its not the sort that has droplinks.

ever thought about swapping to the non droplink style

nothing really, except that I wanted to be different lol...

no really it is a better solution which means theres no problems with the stock rear droplink mounts on the strut shearing off, or the stock droplinks being too long, or issues with rubbing on the brake lines, driveshaft etc... Only potential issue is the bushes wearing out quicker as they are under more load than as intended on the front, but the custom droplinks i'm working on should sort that

still yet to be tested in anger as the car's in bits sorting out this rust etc...

This ones a 22mm, should be a bit less hardcore than the 25mm or even "Casey Special" 26mm I've got a 22mm, 24mm and 25mm of the later type so pretty much all the options to play with, always looking for another option though - hence WHY on the Type 85?

Got the torsen diff to go on too, so no more understeer for me

I'll have a look tommorow when i'm down there. Just got to decide if I want to switch to this or keep with the whiteline rarb setup I was planning on doing.

and you know how my car handled

..... your tyre wear was shocking too IIRC - something ain't right
