FOR SALE: Forge DV007 DVs x2

I've recently removed a set of Forge DV007 DVs from my B5 S4. Having fitted an MRC FMIC recently, it was suggested I return to 710Ns, hence I have the two Forge items for sale. Andy Casey on the forum has suggested that the single units would be suitable for use on the S2 (I believe he has one on his car at present). They were on my S4 for approx. 13k miles and I've not had any problems with either of them. Some minor cosmetic scratches on the metal body, nothing serious.

£50 each, delivered. Please PM me if you're interested. Paypal / direct bank transfer preferred.

Aye, I'm running one of these, as are many others. Worth doing on a chipped car if you're eating the OE bosch items. These are like new so are a bargain as they're £90 each new.

Straight swap, you only need a plumbing kit on 1.8Ts I think.

Just remove the headlight and you get a lot more access. Try it in both orientations, I swapped mine to the same as stock Bosch today and it's working well. In the other orientation it made a funny plink noise

Why is the the 710N prefered over the Forge? I still use the 710N and have a forge Dv sitteing in a box somewhere in Garage but have never installed it.

Pete's car is a B5 S4 and so has 2 DVs, it works better with the faster reacting 710N. On an S2 the 710N life is pretty short due to the higher pressure on the single DV. If you don't mind replacing the 710N on a regular basis then they are very good, the Forge item is hardier although it does require a service every year or so to keep it silky smooth.
