I've had these on my Avant for just over a year and I'm going back to standard before I sell it.
Kit comprises of:
2 x Hi-Spec Monster 4 calipers
2 x A8 314mm discs, used
2 x A8/Brembo 347mm discs, used for approx 2000 miles
2 x brackets
2 x spacers (I have been using these with the 347mm discs)
2 x pairs of Ferodo DS2500 pads, approx 3000 miles on these
I rebuilt the calipers with new piston and dust seals, new bleed nipples etc around 13 months ago. I had to buy a new half-caliper from Hi-Spec due to a sheared bleed nipple and unfortunately they didn't have a black one, so the rear (inside) half of one of the calipers is silver rather than black. Both fronts are black so you can't tell, no biggie.
Using the 314mm discs the brakes fit comfortably behind standard 16" Avus wheels, and on the 347mm discs I'm happily running them behind 17" Avus II wheels with room to spare.
These are a really good and powerful alternative to the Porsche brakes that everyone fits. Never driven an S2 with Porsche brakes so I can't compare, but these are SO good with the 347mm discs that I have made myself feel dizzy in testing
Specifications available here: http://www.hispecbrake.co.uk/caliper...%20-%20330.htm
I'll need your original brakes in part-ex as my original brakes have gone walkabout annoyingly. They are still on the car at the moment so I don't have pictures at this point in time, but they're brakes, what more do you need to know
£400 ono + your brakes please
