will this fit a s2 avant, or are other parts needed?

It will bolt on to your avant. The bracket it comes with is to allow it to fit the 3B or ABY (avant is ABY) crossmembers without cutting and welding.

I tried that but he is keeping all his distribution state side now so if you want any of his gear you will have to order it direct from him.
