Unfortunately the time has come to sell the RS2, the reason being that she genuinely isn't getting used and I don't want to use her to run the 2 km to work each day. A quick run down: Volcano Black, black leather, 89K, all belts and fluids replaced, samcos, 993 monoblocks all round, alloy front subframe bushes, titanium drop links and pro mounts. As you can see I have spent a lot of cash on this car which makes the decision to sell even harder however, she can't live in the garage forever. The wife has decided after being a nice family car widow that she now wants something decent so a new S Max is imminent. It isn't all bad news as I have sourced a cheap Golf 4 motion to run around in (still VW Audi group
) I have been offered £11750 by a trader but I was looking at asking £13500 to realistically get around £12750 as I know the trader will put it on his forecourt for £14750. I do know that a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay so should I take the traders offer or hold out for what I believe she is worth? Either way someone will get a well sorted RS2 to say the least.
I also have a set of 034 engine mounts, a set of aux gauges and a front washer bottle for sale if anyone is interested.
