What's happened to the N/S foglight though? Looks like the screw mounting may have snapped on this:-

Perfect Example that has been cherished since day one.

No way is that worth 18 grand , you would be lucky to get 12 for it at the moment,I think there is a lot of people at the moment that have not realised how cheep the second hand car market is.

Agreed its a reasonably tough market for your average run of the mill cars at the moment and £18k is perhaps a little too high in my eyes for this beauty of an RS2... but if its still for sale in a months time im sure there would be room for some negotiation.

gotta agree. Mine is also for sale at the moment on Pistonheads as £13995 and that's had a little more work done to it, and my fog light ain't broken!
I think a lot of people are hoping to sell to Europe with the pound being so weak against the Euro though. It does help if it's a left hooker though for that market.
All of my serious inquiries about mine have been from either Holland, Belgium or Germany.

there you go then. they sell from anything between £5,995 and £18,000 when this one does sell. i know somebody who recently bought one for just less than £7,000 too.
original statement was it's difficult to price cars at the moment but just about anything will sell at the right price depending on how quickly you want the cash. simple as.

RS Blau is a more sought after colour than Black, and mine had 36,000 more miles on the clock. I only let mine go for £10,000 cos I owed my Uncle a fair wack!
