A friend is selling a stunning, bright red VX220 2.2 16v normall aspirated with around 180bhp. It's had a serious amound of ££ put into it and is fast road focussed with lightweight wheels, Nitron suspension, modified inlet and exhaust and track seats and harnesses. Comes fully serviced by Lotus specialists Gugliemi Racing and is 100% ready to go for the summer, you could pick it up and do a track day the same day!

indeed not, i did talk to him a while back about the VX, when i was having a wobble on the S2 and looking for a more conventional track toy but when push comes to shove, i just can't see me letting the S go. i'm wedded to it almost as long as my wife and she'd argue it has had more money and time lavished on it Looking at the c/c statements I'm less convinced.

Is he turning attention back to the S4 or going for something totally different?

S4 is getting some (more) love, that's the current plan. S4 has just had MRC FMIC, has the RS6 brakes and might get coilovers, ligthweight alloys and K04s... who knows
