Now it's the wrong picture you're looking at. What we're discussing here is the real cost to any buyer of my engine. Which if they have a S2 already as Will does then his original engine offsets the cost of buying the new engine and having it fitted. Nothing more than that
Looking to upgrade mine over time, aiming for 350-400hp long term and this looks like a solution in one, although the rods haven't been done which is a negative. The problem is that the fitting costs @ approx £700 offsets the savings on parts in this case...
I'm not been funny but coments such as jamo's and acidburns aren't helping you sell you engine. Isn't there a rule on people thoughts on prices like keep your god shut??????
Come on lads he's trying to sell a good engine, no offence boys but you wouldn't like it if it was you selling it.

No rule, and i wont be making one
Jamo and Acidburn are just trying to help Will in their own way im sure. I know ive been saved from making some unnecessary or over priced purchases off here by others "helping" me out, even if its not the seller. This isnt ebay, and allowing people to post thing of this nature can only help seperate the wheat from the chaff, as far as im concerned.
Thats not to say your engine is over priced or the chaff by the way epic, i dont think it is, and if someone is after an "in-the-box" solution its almost perfect

Thats right... so best not to poke him with a stick
I've said 3k for the engine for 350 bhp, which was the price of MRC work plus VAT, engine and consumables not said anything else in this thread, in another I have as it wasn't a for sale thread and could freely air opinions of this which i've also spoken to MRC to clarify my point of view which was not aimed at their company.
My badge needs polishing i'm off from this thread forever........
