Audi S6 Saloon circa 430hp
I am soon moving to Ireland, so the car has to go
Metallic Grey, with Black leather interior.
135,500 miles, the rebuild took place at 130,000. Please note that the first 700 miles were for running in.
6 months Tax and Mot
Engine - All engine work completed by Pete Berry of White Cottage Quattros:
Fully rebuilt ago with up-rated rods, ARP rod bolts; and RS2 bearings, cam belt and water pump
Bottom end balanced
Lightweight flywheel
Sachs clutch with up-rated pressure plate and organic clutch. Nice in traffic and everyday use. Expensive but I was told Sachs was the way to go.
Block painted Black
Pistons re-ringed
Head has been rebuilt with new valve guides and stem seals
RS2 exhaust manifold
RS2 head gasket
GT3071 turbo with .63 exhaust housing and 4”bell mouth intake
Catch can
Cold air intake
Siemens 660cc injectors
Polyurethane snub mount
Bosch motor sport fuel pump
3” turbo back exhaust with sports cats and single rear box and v-clamp connectors. The exhaust originally came with a Magnaflow rear box and it was very loud. So I had Hayward and Scott custom make and fit a new rear box so the car is now nice and quiet. The beauty of having a single box is that ground clearance is optimized with the lowered suspension.
3 bar map sensor
Garrett front mount intercooler
2.5” metal piping and Black silicon boost hoses
Up-rated metal diverter valve
Apikol 1.8t coil pack conversion; all 5 coil packs were replaced 1 month with genuine VAG items
0.9 bar wastegate spring
Polished cam cover
Live re-mapped by Mihnea from MRC
All radiator hoses replaced with Black silicon hoses.
Brand new battery
Run on 10w-60 Castrol Edge
Suspension:
Bilstein sports shocks
Eibach Springs
New shock boots and Audi bolts used
Suspension geometry laser aligned - with printout
Brakes:
Brembo discs all round in the last 3000 miles
EBC Yellowstuff pads up front – less than 3000 miles
EBC Redstuff pads at the rear – less than 3000 miles
Very effective brake set up, I’ve never experienced fade; and there is no juddering, or pulling to one side etc.
Misc:
New Bosch windscreen wipers
Sony headunit
New OSF Outer CV boot
Overall: this is a very good car with truly stunning performance. The interior is virtually unmarked, with no peeling dials; and the autocheck has no pixels missing.
I have bills for parts and labor that amount to around £10k,(not including buying the car) although more has been spent.
If anyone would like further confirmation on the work completed, please phone me on 07789908975 or Pete from White Cottage quattros 01403790054
The car is currently at White Cottage quattro's, where it was vag com'd. As there was a weak signal from the lambda probe, this has been replaced. Along with a subframe mount underneath.
Finally, a new air-con condenser and drier is being fitted as a leak was discovered.
I am asking £6695 (although open to offers) for the car, which is reasonable for a car as complete as this.
The bodywork is the one area the car is let down. There is a small knock on the front wing; and the rear bumper has seen better days, although a new primed rear bumper is supplied.
The original Magnaflow rear box is also supplied with the car.
I will supply more photos, but not until I pick it up at the weekend.
Thanks for looking
