I have a spare bomb. It worked when it was removed from the car.

    Hi,

Is it for 3B or ABY cars?

And when you had it on your car, did it the computer gave a red blinking warning when you start the engine and beeps about 3 times?

    Thanks,

    Tim

I checked ETKA. There are 2 kinds of bombs type 1 and type 2. As far as I can see from ETKA, both types were used in 3B and ABY. The only difference between type 1 and type 2 is the banjo bolt. This one is M12.

I bought it from a guy I know. He said it worked on his car. No beeps, no warning lamp. I was going to put it on mine but found out I have an M10 size banjo bolt.

Check your car for the right size bolt.

Bomb aka pressure accumulator. Known to die on our cars.

More exactly, both type 1 and type 2 were used in both 3B and ABY.

More exactly the earlier type was used to MY 90 and later type MY90 on so S2 uses the latter one always.
