    Audi S2 Avant Bodyshell

As most people have seen I am breaking my S2 Avant and I do not want to see the shell crushed so although its not yet in bits once I've started it won't be lont till I need it out of my way.

The shell has covered 151k and is generally in good condition, there are small dents here and there, a couple of bits of paint bubbling and some stone chips on the front end, that said its far tidier than most S2's and the paint finish itself is stunning.

The shell will come with :

Full shell with doors, bonnet, boot, glass, carpet and seats and most probably a dashboard but no clocks or bumpers.

Most of the wiring will still be there, anything that will of been removed will of been done sensibly without leaving a mess.

I don't wan't to say exactly what else will come with it from the underside but the fuel tank, front subframe and wishbones along with some of the rear setup will be intact, dampers will also remain with the shell unless sold beforehand.

It is a SOLID shell, there is no doubt about that, it has some small car park dents, a few scratches but from most angles it looks like the most perfect S2 you have seen.

All I want for what I have listed above is £500, I am hoping to work out a deal with someone so I know its sold when its stripped of the bits I need and I can get it out of the unit I'm renting, in my eyes its a bargain at that money, the panels would no doubt eventually sell for more than that if I had time to sit on them but I just want it all out of the way.

The car will have no wheels or hubs so be aware it won't be rolled onto a flatbead !

Here are some old pics but you get the idea :

    Thanks for looking

    EDIT

    Todays pics

Worst bit on the whole car, not rotted through but clearly needs sorting one way or the other, water has sat behind the stone chip protector and eventually had the paint off

            The shell ?

I've just had the guy round here who's unit it will go in and he said we can use the forklift to move it onto a trailer, obviously we'll put pallets under the car to lift it so it won't damage the car.

You will need a flatbed trailer to collect it.

I'll hopefully move the car this weekend and it will be stripped by next weekend so anyone that wants to collect stuff should contact me asap.

The shell HAS to go so if your interested please don't hang around too long thinking about it

Be good if someone can save the car, on a side note my mate said he knows you, he bought a ashley exhaust off you and was chatting to you the other day, he mentioned you was breaking this car.

I really do hope someone takes it, I can understand its not exactly easy to move but if you had another car there it wouldn't be hard to atleast get this one rolling, either way its certainly worth sitting on if your planning to reshell one.

I forget your mates name but we only chatting on msn the other day about some bits, he did mention you and I said you used the forum

I forgot to mention it also comes with a Cat 1 Alarm and Immobilizer still fitted with the certificate so thats another thing you won't need to buy or swap over from your own car.

would the running gear from a 20 valve coupe quattro fit this shell easily enough?
one i ve just bought would be a good donor and this wasn t an option for the avants was it?

that would be a very interesting conversion. All thre ront end stuff would fit on fine but youd need rear hubs and subframe from a quattro avant.

would give the car a better soundtrack imho.

Personally if funds allowed I'd have a Chevy LS engine in it or keeping it all Audi a RS4 engine on a rwd tremec or Borg Warner gearbox from a Mustang, now that would be a tool and have a awesome soundtrack.
