There not great mate, I'd rather they went with the shell itself tbh.

See the other thread for parts that have been provissionally sold incase there is anything else you feel you may want.

I ended up scrapping my avant shell - I could not even give it away. You may have more luck sticking it on e-bay - personally I did not want the hassle. Good luck anyway..

I've ended up scrapping an Avant shell as well, even tried giving it away, shame really.

                  Shell removal problems

                  Hi

The problem is either your locations are not known ,in your profile heading or your ad.....or you lucky enough to be getting rid of your shells.are on the far ends of the seekers location.................

Some of the shells sent to scrapyard have been useable to others............

My 2 cents and experaince in shell hunting

                  yours

Sorry yes my location isn't ideal although you could always google it

I live near Huntingdon, Cambs. about 10 mins from Huntingdon.

The shell is TOO good for the scrapyard but it will get scrapped if it doesn't sell.

the main issue for most with regards the shell is transporting it. Even some sort of makeshift trolley would help although im not sure how youd get it back off the trailer/flat bed without a forklift? if there was a way round that i think a lot more people would be interested

I totally agree, I have had a buyer for the hubs for quite a while though and I don't want to let him down.

If it gets weighed in I'll probably sell the panels on, or atleast put them on ebay

maybe itd be possible to do a deal with whoever is buying the hubs to leave them on the shell till its at its new home then collect them or have them sent from there. Obviously theres a large element of trust involved but just an idea

So far no interest in the shell whatsoever, with or without hubs.
