    1996 Nreg 2.0e Coupe or 1995 URS6 saloon?

Here goes...... I need to sell my 1996 2.0e coupe, amazon green with half leather. Recent new clutch, cam belt/tensioner and front shock absorbers. I've owned it for just over a year and its been a good user for me. Taxed and tested till December showing 131k with sevice history to 104k and all old MOT's.

Only faults i can think of is usual stonechips on front of bonnet, which ideally could do with repainting to make car excellent. Also the temp gauge is a little bit strange to say the least...... sometimes not working, sometimes reading 130!! but never overheats so i just ignore it and keep my eye on oil temp and pressure gauge. I have replaced the sensor but stayed the same.

This car has driver airbag and the pre-select sunroof, all electrics work as they should (no noisy or slow windows)

I'm wanting £750 for a quick sale, please dont think because its cheap its a shed ...because its not. I need the money .......because if it doesn't sell my only other option is to sell my urs6 saloon. The guy i got it from bought it fron supplying dealer where it had been a demo, serviced at main dealer every 10,000 miles for the first few years then by dialynx. Last serviced just 73 miles before he parked the car up for two years after falsley believing head gasket had blown (thermostat had stuck). I bought the car and it flew through its mot, i have since used the car for the last 2000 miles but before i did i changed the head gasket anyway as it was still the old original paper gasket, it now has a steel reinz gasket. Green with cream leather,6 speed manual, the climate control is great and the car drives as you would expect a new one to . A coulple of marks on the bodywork (mainly corners of front bumper) and this is also slightly cracked. 5 x standard wheels all with good pirelli tyres. If my coupe doesnt sell quickly this will be available.......as a last resort!!! I'll be looking for £1,500 for the S6

Any interest please pm me and i will get some photos taken tomorrow. For now i only have a couple.

If you still have your old temp sensor (by which I mean the 4-pin sensor) - I'd swap it for a spare working water temp gauge that can be swapped into the cluster for a few minutes work.

    Good luck with the sale.
