Swap my s2 for a turbo diesel

Badly need to swap jobs due to my current one being impossible and need a diesel to take my new job

Good luck finding an A4 diesel quattro. The B5s are very rare and the B6 1.9 is too. There are loads of 2.5TDi V6 quattros around though, but they're rubbish on fuel.

There are 11 1.9 B5/6 ones on autotrader at the moment.
The 2.5 averages 35mpg, which is obviously an improvement on an S2

A4 1.9tdi quattro sport 130 bhp

I have a a4 1.9tdi quattro sport with gmbh bodykit on a 53 plate its a really nice and a much better car than the 2.5tdi version and its quite nippy and decent on fuel my average is 42mpg ish and on a long journey you can get 50mpg never really considered selling but i suppose like anything if the right offer comes along then you never know!!!

Its surprising how little they go for these days, a lot of car for the cash!
Had a good look round a 1.9 B6 TDI quattro at work the other day and was quite impressed

Aye theres a few around a few dogs to!! my brother has a 1.9tdi on a p reg that has covered 260000 miles and still going strong producing 55 mpg all the time and they are going for peanuts am not saying what you should do but if you can buy a high mileage a4 with plenty sh and you shouldnt have to many problems and would cost about £1k and keep your s2 cause it looks a really nice one
