excuse me ignorance of turbo engines, but whats the best engine of the four 20valve turbos?

what things do they have in common? (or not as the case maybe)

Also, What are the achievable power limits of each engine ?

Someone offered me a 3b a while ago. Is the aan much better?

3b early s2 with distributer weak head gasket .
ABY coil pack ignition metal head gasket good for 400bhp without internal mods .
ADU RS2 tweaked ABY with differant cams same conrods and shells ect good for 400hp
careful tuning and no bent rods after 400lb\ft .
AAN is aby but differant inlet manifold and plumbing used in Audi S4\S6 5CYL models .
RR is last off the ur quattro same as 3b i think .

AAN Also has different ancills. It runs a viscous fan and will need further mods to fit. But with some further modification to the radiator you can use a bigger front mount intercooler due to the reverse inlet manifold. The biggest pro with a 3b is that it uses a single mass flywheel but this can be retrofitted to all the other type engines.
