ABY Engine complete for sale

Hey people, as I'm finally starting the S2 project I don't need the engine anymore so It's up for sale.

ABY with 101k miles, recent waterpump, tensioner and cambelt.
Brand new MAF also.

I will be selling the engine complete with intercooler, ECU, loom, turbo and all necessary hardware to swap it into your S2 or project car. I do not want to sell the bits individually so please don't PM me with offers for components. If worst comes to worst and I dont have any good offers I will consider stripping it down.

The ECU has been homefried and the plastic inlet elbow has a drilling that will need to be patched where I used to run a nitrous fogger.

The engine is currently in my S2 but will be removed, drained, steam cleaned, plugged up and put on a pallet when I accept an offer. It can be heard running, although it does not have an exhaust on anymore.

Very good mechanical order, no ticks, misses, rattles or smoke.

The ancillarys are not included, but are available at extra cost.

No offence intended just thought I would point out that there has been all what you are selling for sale on here for about a month for £1000 and that motor has only done 62k ! and it hasn't sold yet to my knowledge .
what I'm getting at is that I think that £1500 is a bit steep.
