Unfortunatelly, this is NOT the pressure plate in the above link.
The link goes to the correct model,but 034 has replaced all pressure plates with the new high clamp version. The one i received is the old version...Which basically means it is useless, as it can only hold up to at least 100Nm of torque less than the high clamp option.
James, i have PMed you already about this. The fins on the spec clutch are straight, not bent, and Joe from axis is not even aware of the fact that the high clamp option pressure plate was only available in 2008, and much later than when you bought this kit.
I have emailed spec and 034 with the part numbers found on the pressure plate and i will have the verifcation shortly.
The link mentions the high clamp pressure plate, which was not there when you bought it. I know that myself, because i bought mine at the same pretty much period as you did, and they did not have this option back then.
Obviously even you werent aware if this was the high clamped one or not.If you are judging by photos only, then surely you cannot say that they are the same in any way.
this is obviously strong enough as mine is, and mine holds up to 600-610Nm of torque now without any issues. But the high clamp one can add 100Nm more to that.
If you are not interested in going that high, cause that was the only reason i specifically wanted this high clamp option, i am willing to send it to you for the same price.(100+7 for shipping)
It was sold of as a spec stage 3+ end of. I don't sit around wait for the wind to change from 034. It's a spec stage 3+ and that what I sold it as no less no more
James, you were not accurate and you know it. When you post the link that you did above, it clearly states that it is a HIGH CLAMP. If the one you sold was NOT the high clamp, then you were not accurate. Simple.
Obviously, judging from the above answer, you wouldnt accept a sent back for a refund either. Shame cause i thought you would accept the facts and be a stand up guy.
