mmm looks clean enough there alright, but I smell a superchip and can see the most hilarious looking blow-off valve lurking behind a cone filter that has no heat shield. Note the bling gearknob and oddball boost guage location. Alloys won't be to all tastes either, but could be a sweet car with a bit of TLC.Paul Nugent

Hmmm
This one has been on ebay before for alot less - there were bids. Interesting that the photos appear to have been taken at another location this time.Originally posted by rotoryboySomeone's probably 'blagged' him. It's more likely had 7 owners. Plate changes should not reg. as a new owner.

Yeah I always find I notice a lot more about cars I'm not interested in than cars I want to buy. Seem to get a bit swept along when you actually want it.
Always take someone who has no personal interest in the car at all. I did this for a mate who was looking at a 944 Convertible. I found loads of little faults that he didn't see as I was being super critical.Ex 1994 Avant - now driving a Lotus 340r

Unfortunately the best way I reckon to check the bodywork in particular is to wash and polish the car - only then do you really find out.Originally posted by AL80PMSL at that blow-off valve
I remember once buying a ren 21 turbo advertised as 240. More like 190! Muppet.Comment

He says he is selling it on behalf of someone else, so that might explain the different eBay IDs.Originally posted by Dr HFirst time it was in Luton second time Tamworth.
The first seller said he was selling it because he'd bought a 250BHP Golf TDi.
Yeah, right!

DR H, I actually went and done this to my current S2. I got blown away by it and missed ALL the glaring faults on it
By the way, the green audi sure does have one helluva nice interior
