Just out of interest, Does an ABY ECU also work on an S4 AAN engine?

So its just plug and play? no need to change anything else?
Im looking to buy and s4 soon as a run about car and the ECU was water damaged, now the check engine light is always on. The seller has had the ECU repaired at a shocking £200 but I'm not convinced and think it could with replacing.

              Check engine light

And yeah should just be plug and play, I'll be running a aby ecu on an aan loom so thats no problem.

Plus to buy a ecu normally will cost you around £200 on average, then chipping it will cost extra. So worth it definately at that price.

Yeah, there is a check engine light above the 3 smaller left side gauges in the cluster. Never seen that before but its defiantly there and always on, apparently since the water came in through the bulk head by the heater blower.

And sounds like the waters gone straight down into the pocket for the ecu.

Should work on an AAN no problem. The only thing is that won't work the turbo boost indicator that the AAN board computer has. I will always mark the minimum level. Other than this, it should work fine.
                          Cheers.
