They are for the factory fitted alarm/central locking

Anyone know how easily the pillars with sensors can be retro fitted? Or alternatively what the kit that VagParts did for remote locking?

I think you would be better off with a decent cat 1 alarm!
I keep thinking about replacing mine with ones that have no sensors on as they are no longer used on mine

I have a clifford arrow 3 with intelistart 4 sat here in a box, but there is a million wires and not one of them even does total closure, and basically cant be bothered to fit it! Just fed up with the cracked paint around the key.

I don't have the list in front of me but I think I now have it all at home, I'll double check tonight before I go and atleast let you know when I can get a price sorted for postage
