I remember having probs getting a k/n for my late aby.
The rs2 one happened to be the same as the aby one, the only difference I can see between aby and rs2 air box is the size on the inlet trumpet.

mmmmm, food for thought that Sal. (the filter was advertised as an S2 filter) when it arrived I checked the part number on the K&N website and it stated RS2 only, so I checked it's dimensions>>>>

Bought a k&n for mine (ABY) and it was too small (may be ok for a 3B though) the shop said it was the same as a golf gti and the part number was supposedly correct, turns out the one i got that is the right size is listed for an S4/S6 probably with the AAN engine (part no 33-2029)

Fits, though it is a tad thinner in it's height than the one I took out (which was split along one edge).
So, for future reference 33-2768 defo fits the ABY air box
Anyone got any tips for getting than bloody clip round the back on, without squeezing so hard I thought my fingers were going to snap
