My wife wants to sell our RS2...

She wants an automatic. It's in her country, registered in her name so I'm not inclined to fight this, but I love the damn thing.

So it's got 72,600km and it's mint. We're the original owners and it's basiclly been our summer car for the past 14 years. Never had any problems with it.

The car is in Liechtenstein at her parents, but I'm in the US. Any ideas on how to sell this car would be appreciated.

Dude sell the wife and keep the car!!!! I would. Do a money transfer into a friends account and get him to "buy" it then when he has it get it changed to ur name. Use a trustworthy friend. Then get it sent to where ever u r and without her realising, it's all yours! Then give her $50 to buy some poo box without gears!

I woulda had this car over here awhile back but it's on the officially banned list of the US DOT. As for my wife she's perfectly happy if we get an S3 Sportback, she just wants an auto and a style update. It lives at her parents and we get one garage space sort of (her dad keeps his car outside), otherwise I'd consider keeping it for myself.

I ordered this car myself back in '94, and thanks to a connection at Audi they actually loaned me a red RS2 for about 3-4 months until mine was built. I also got to see the production line in Zuffenhausen when they had just started building them and they were still doing those AMG cars on the same line in building #1 I think it was. It was totally mixed, a lot of fast family cars coming out one door. Wonder where they're building that horrible looking Panamera, Leipzig I guess.

Yep, but it's now 15 years old so I guess in theory I could bring it over here... Maybe that's what I should do.
