yup, tried that, but as the gauges are being screwed into position, and the whole plastic pit fitted under the front dash, they get pushed back down. So instead i used 2 small longitudinal felt tapes on the bottom of the gauges, where they touch the ashtray, and now, its squeek free!

Too late now after the glue. But its sorted so no worries

the gauges has 2 mounting point on both side. you can adjust the height there. only 1-1,5mm, but enought.

yes, it has to be the modified. you can adjust the position of the 3 aux gauges, the distance between the ashtray.

i should get a better photo for you Aron,

on the aux/ashtray carbon bits, i have to say that as the ashtray increases in height when glued on, the distance between the auc gauges and the ashtray is smaller, and therefore come in contact.

This can generate some rattle, esp. if the idle is a bit higher, or the fan kicks in etc.

I cured this with a bit of anti rattle tape on a few places and its absolutely fine now.

Cant take photos though, as the car is been given away for work to be done.

yes, i realised that problem. i modified the moulding. now the lower side of the aux gauge cover is 1 mm shorted. now it has clerance, like original.
