    Group Buy: Nite Glowrings

I've been working with these guys recently and thought I'd offer up some discount if a few people fancy buying some of these cheeky little numbers?

I reckon I can supply them at £21 for three with free UK delivery (or add delivery for other countries)

Utilising proven, safe Trigalight® gaseous tritium light source (GTLS) technology, the Nite GlowRing is completely self-powered, delivering continuous light output in any environmental conditions, even when used underwater. Without doubt, the most ingenious, long-lasting and dependable safety markers.

    ************************ Edit
I reckon I can get single Glowrings sent for £7.50 if that's preferable for anyone?
couple of good picstures I just found here

    **********************************************

Green is the brightest, then blue and then pink. they won't blind you but they do the job in the dark. I have them attached to my son's snowsuit here, on my keys and all sorts. My dad has them all over his boat and on the light pull in his bathroom. Doesn't take a genius to work out where they're handy actually.

They contain tritium, which I've discovered occurs naturally in small doses. Obviously this is more concentrated and is technically radioactive (calm down girls) but isn't harmful to the skin if you manage to break the tubes. Nite source their tritium from the best of the suppliers in Switzerland and the products are much better made (and cheaper as far as I can see) than the cheap versions from the far east. These things were originally made just to showcase the technology they use in their watches but they've ended up having to make more and more.
Incidentally if you're interested in a watch let me know and I'll see if I can organise some discount there too. www.nite-watches.co.uk

If interested post how many and colours you want in the thread and when there's a few I'll sort an order out

    cheers

I think my missus is actually getting fed up with finding them attached to things. Good job she's not got piercings

The watches are ace and I reckon I'll get one myself soon. I quite like the MX10 range cos they're on the smaller side. Actually I have to say I quite like the SAS special http://www.nitewatchshop.co.uk/Nite+...al+Edition.htm (cue jumping around hedges at night and spontaneous camping trips followed by calls to mountain rescue)

Having just scanned through them all I'm only going on pictures because there isn't much additional information.

This is my favourite because of the strap styling and colour - http://www.nitewatchshop.co.uk/Nite+...ch+-+Black.htm

Looks like a nice bit of kit, shame its the most expensive one

ah yes. Sir has expensive taste yes? One of the reasons I'll probably go for one at half the price unless I can somehow convince someone else to buy it for me.

haha. I do indeed Bry. Those beasties moved with me and live in the garage, waiting for me to befriend someone with a pit or ramp so I can investigate the possibility of some cutting and welding.
PM/email me your address so I can send you on 3 when I do the order.

Cool. Just keep adding to the list as per above and when there are a few I can get the order through. I'll get in tocuh with everyone individually then for money.

Rob - that's a bloody good idea. I actually know someone here who developed a GPS tracking system for hunting dogs. GPS collar and you can track them on a map on your phone.

Sonic - Go on! Who doesn't need night vison goggles on a freakish face harness?

I love these, and got one a couple of years ago. It was advertised as lasting for years and years, but stopped glowing after about 2 months!
What is the expected life of these ones?
