I've heard of that happening as well Dest. These one swill work for 10 years or possibly much much more. The guy I know at Nite tells me that they source their 'light source' from the best supplier exactly because of this kind of thing. I think poor manufacture can lead to rapid break down of the chemical. If one of these dies after 2 months I will make sure you get a replacement or refund. I really doubt it will happen though.
