1993 ABY Bottom end

I had a engine which I suspected the headgasket was weeping on so I sold the head, typically when I removed the head it must of been the combination of dirt, water and a leaky cam cover gasket that made the gasket look rough as the damn thing was perfect.

Anyway now the head is off I have a complete block for sale, comes complete with sump ( which needs a new plug as some numpty round the hex head off ) no sensors or dipstick, crank pulley still attached.

Bores appear to be perfect, engine ran sweet as a nut even after it had stood on my drive for 3 months over Christmas, no smoke, quiet as a mouse.

Perfect for a direct replacement if anyone is need of one or otherwise ideal for a rebuild or big power unit if someone is looking to build up a engine while they still use their own.

Priced to sell at £500 ovno, I can ship it worldwide for sensible money

Seriously mate £500 is way over the top , a good complete engine with manifolds and turbo
sold on here for £550 about 5-6 weeks ago . Does it have the flywheel ? if so I will make you an offer for it .

As for pricing just because someone (in this case i guess you mean t2andy) sold one cheap it doesn't set a new rule that these engines are worth so little, andys was a good deal, incomplete i might add but he also wanted it out of his way thus the low price, it was also collection only which doesn't suit everyone, it is a good engine though but it was a rariity to see one that cheap and they certainly dont usually sell for that money from experience.

Ihave more than enough space to store this engine but i'd prefer to see it gone soon so its not been stood for ages incase someone chooses to use it rather than use it for a new build, either way make me a offer via pm and i'll be sure to consider it, i could also be coming up to Poulton soon to see my brother which isn't far from you but i dont mind posting it or you collecting it if you need it sooner.

When you say it can come with a flywheel , do you mean the flywheel that was on that engine ?
The reason I ask is these bottom ends are balanced with the flywheel as an assembly so you can't just swap and change flywheels without balancing issues .
