New genuine RS2 grille for sale or swap - (now on back order...)

I've got a brand new, still in its VW packaging, just arrived from TPS RS2 steel bonnet grille. As of yesterday these were on back order so may or may not come back into stock

VW want £95 + VAT for this if they do come back into stock.

£95 posted. It's the grille in the picture, taken out of its bag for the photo - it doesn't include the surround.

It was this price around 3 yrs ago when I priced one up from vagparts (RIP) and thats not including no fittings, glad I paid alot less for one of my rs2 bumpers.

I think it's pretty random, if they sell something thats flawed from the start they'll pump it out at very humble prices rather than face up to a warranty problem. If it's something the trained monkeys regularly break during routine maintenance it'll be as cheap as chips. Examples I've come accross:
Mk3 Golf Glove Box Latch,
B5 Passat Pollen Filter Cover.

A lot of the time you'd expect they have a person employed to randomly select numbers from a telephone book and double them!!
