For Sale - Complete 996 monoblock kit

I am really NOT wanting to sell this, as like many things it has sat in a sealed box waiting the day I can enjoy it.

But long story short - I cannot run 16" avus wheels with my winter tyres on with these fitted and I likely wont have another car ready for this winter so I figured it best to sell the lot whilst it is all new (except the 2nd hand calipers of course).

2 x porsche 996 monoblock calipers (996.351.425 & 426) in Black finish, mechanically perfect looking but some cosmetic marks here and there as you would expect. A paint job would bring them up as new appearance.

    2 x 323mm discs (30mm deep) - never used - from A8/S8 with 5x112 fitment

2 x RS2 carriers - also unused - these are very expensive from Audi these days

1 x set of bolts for carrier & caliper - also unused - proper ones in Posche/Audi bags

2 x solid brake lines - unused - as per RS2 application that works with 996 monos

1 x set DS2500 pads (not in my hands yet but acquired new via LeS2 Audi group buy)

I did dry fit one side in the past just to satisfy myself that it all bolts up as it should - as such the buyer will see that the bolt bags are open - but that is genuinely the only 'use' on some of these new parts.

This little lot cost me upwards of £700 but I would be happy enough with £600 or offers very close to that. Postage will be extra of course due to the weight involved. I'd expect that to be in around £40 for UK - depends on your courier choice and such.

I can post a photo later if it helps but most people will know what to expect from such a complete kit. I need to fund the new exhaust somehow and the old stock brakes will just have to do for the foreseeable future

PLEASE remember these do NOT fit under 16" alloys

Sell the discs and carriers and contact Bambridge for some new carriers, I've run 996 Monos under 16" Avus for years with the other parts you're selling, no problems at all

fitting them aint the hard part chaps... its having to **** around with wheel spacers and/or procure different discs and brackets to run 16" avus in the winter which I can't be bothered with - seeing as my trusty/reliable low stress 80V6Q blew up and died on its *** and I have yet to find copious funds to rebuild it properly. I might yet phone the ****er in for scrap as it breaks my heart somedays - more money down the toilet and nout to show for it. Where is that "Samari2ns" number - LOL ?

What about just a 2nd hand engine to get it going back on the road paul? might be an easier option to let you get it going whilst giving you time to sort the other engine at your pace.

funny enough - I was thinking about that again last weekend... I'm not that keen on the idea - if I was lucky that would be great - and cheaper... once bitten twice shy though.
When I rebuild the engine I know that I can trust it - so maybe an interim engine will get me mobile until then. I should look into this option more but there are few sources of such a donkey locally.

2.6 would get you by and be cheap as chips. 2.8 30v would be a nice upgrade

2.6 would need different loom and ECU - fupp all that extra effort with dash removal etc to get a smaller engine...

2.8 30V been talked to death - definitely a nice path to take and would also require new loom and ECU - but chances of finding all that locally in good condition are slim - maybe when I win the lottery or get a decent pay rise I can do it. Just wondering what has higher probability of those two events.

Here's a pic - shows the outside faces of the calipers which are fine. There is some visible scraping on the face that is towards the roadwheel - again this is purely cosmetic but I can post more pics on request.
