  • FS:Aby coupe rolling shell

Right,i've decided to sell the old girl.I really don't want to but needs must,i just don't have the spare time or money to get her back on the road
    So,about the car:
1993 Aby coupe in dark blue
    151k
No tax,mot till september. Will pass another mot with ease as it has done the last 2.
    Polybushed all round,whiteline rarb,lowered.
The interior is in pretty good fettle
Is sitting on 17" o.z's of an unkown type which have been freshly blasted and powdercoated gloss black.2 brand new t1-r proxes on the front and a pair of p-zero's on the rear,i have never seen another set of these wheels before as the spokes are 'handed'.
Fitted with plasma dials, boost gauge, aftermaket steering wheel/boss and gearknob.
Brand new heater matrix has been fitted
History and old reciepts upto 2005
The only parts missing are the engine, ecu, exhaust and intercooler/x member.
Included in the sale are a nearly new set of roose boost hoses, good maf, almost new hall sender, recently replaced coil packs and cover and a low mileage clutch.
Will also chuck in a pair of doors and a bootlid if wanted.

    Right,bad bits:
    It leaks-no suprise there
    the doors need adjusting
The bodywork needs work in the usual places (both wings and a 50p sized spot on the rear quarter)
Both doors have damage, one has a dent and crease, the other has a crease in it
The front bumper and tailgate need paint (still in primer)
The rear bumper has a patch of cracked paint
Plus all the usual scratches and stonechips.
paint on one of the rear quarters has peeled
In fairness it cleans up ok,it's never bothered me as the intention was to take it on track for a bit of fun.
To make it mint it would need a respray,to be fair it would be better suited to someone looking for an easy track car project.
Despite the poor cosmetics it is mechanically sound ,drives very well and feels really firm,it would be a shame to pull it to bits,as i nearly did and decided against it
I'm sure there are things i will have missed, plase don't hesitate to get in touch
    Looking for £1800 ovno

I'll get some more photos up soon
    It's a love/hate relationship with the S2,i love it,it hates me

What i mean by mechanically sound is suspension and drivtrain
Not the best way to word it admittedly
And it DID drive very well
